Grateful to Eric Lohman, Editor, Fresh Out Mag for the publication of my collaborative #shahai with Prakarsh Singh who clicked the beautiful #photo that inspired the haiku.
A shahai, combines a #haiku/tanka and an image. The image usually does not directly correspond to the haiku/tanka, but connects to it subtly. #memories #mountain #poem

Grateful to Richard Grahn, Founding Editor & Collaborative Artist, Drifting Sands Haibun and the Drifting Sands – Poet’s Hub for putting me on their “Ripples in the Sand” audio podcast with Sangita Kalarickal Krivosik, Author and lovely host. The podcast was recorded on 7th May 2023 and I felt deeply honored to be invited to share my haibun poems. 💕
Grateful for your feedback dear friends, once you give it a listen.
The #haikufoundation’s #haikudialogue with the theme “Simply a Daily Activity” published today.
Grateful to Craig Kittner, Guest Editor, kj & Lori for selecting my #haiku.
Congratulations to all featured poets. Craig writes, “It is through the nature of our attention that we find connection with a moment. The nature of the moment hardly matters. The moment is haiku if you lose yourself in it.
Sometimes surprising things arise from just doing. Sometimes not surprising, but simply true.”
