    A Peacock’s Cry
    seasons of haiku

With the Grace of God and the good wishes of family and friends, I’m delighted to announce the release of my 3rd poetry book, A Peacock’s Cry: seasons of haiku.

This collection traces the delicate arc of the seasons through a curated selection of my haiku published all over the world.

The Foreword by Alan Summers, in his inimitable perfect style, and a brilliant essay on kigo by Pravat Kumar Padhy, both my mentors, have enriched this book beyond words. The aesthetic cover design is by dear friend Teji Sethi and the sketches inside are by the talented Priti Aisola who has drawn the kigo inspired by Gond art. The Editors of journals where these haiku were first published are thankfully acknowledged for their guidance and support.

My deepest gratitude to dear Kala Ramesh for her glowing testimonial, and to Vandana Parashar, Geethanjali Rajan, Charlotte Digregorio, and Hidenori Hiruta San for their thoughtful blurbs that grace the book

Ravi Kiran, whose constant support & push made this book a reality—I can never thank enough. Thanks to Sh. Abhishek Agarwal of Sambhavna Prakashan for his labor of love.

It would be my honor to receive your thoughts and feedback. I would be truly grateful for your reviews on Amazon.
