failedhaiku- a journal of English #senryu Volume 8, issue 90 is out and this beautiful issue brings #kyoka of poets from all over the world. #haikuhut #senryujournal

Grateful to Bryan Rickert, the issue’s expert Editor for the guidance, acceptance & publication of my 3 kyoka.

Kyoka are 5-lined like #tanka, but as Bryan says – “Think of kyoka being like senryu. Not a definite nature reference or kigo and it illuminates the human condition. They dont always need to be humorous and many people consider modern tanka to be kyoka.” #failedtanka

failed haiku – a journal of English Senryū, issue 86 is here.

Grateful to Michael Henry Lee, Guest Editor & Bryan Rickert, Editor for featuring my Senryū on the theme of “Time”.

The acceptance mail by Michael was very motivating for me. He stated, “I chose this one because it was unexpected. The theme of time is subtly expressed. Insomnia is like being stuck in time that drags on endlessly. The dog however is totally unaffected, being in the perfect now.”

Congratulations to all featured poets in the bumper issue.
